Doctoral Nursing Education in East Asian Region

Doctoral nursing education plays a vital role in nurturing future nursing leaders and generating significant impacts in healthcare services, education and research. With the continuing evolvement of the research and clinical doctoral degree Programmes in the East Asian region, this symposium aims to provide a systematic comparison between these two types of Programmes across the territories. By using the Donabedian model to guide the close scrutiny on the structure, process and outcomes of these two major types of the Programmes, the symposium will provide important insights on the unique focuses and potential synergies of these Programmes.
