Call for Abstract
The EAFONS2024 welcomes the submission of abstracts
for oral or poster presentation.
Abstract Submission Deadline Extended: January 2, 2024 at 10am (UTC+8)
Abstract submitted on or before 29 October, 2023 will have preliminary acceptance announcement by 30 November, 2023. Exact presentation date and time will be announced at a later stage.
Submission Guideline

Abstracts must be submitted online only, through the designated submission site.

Abstracts must be written in English.
-
Each abstract can only have one presenting author, who may or may not be the first author.

Each presenting author can submit up to 2 papers. There is no limit of submission as co-authors.

All submissions will be peer reviewed. The Organising Committee has the right to make the final decision on all submissions.

The abstract title should be no more than 20 words.

The abstract text should be no more than 300 words and should be structured with: Background and Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions.

The abstract should be accompanied by three keywords.

Select one category that matches the abstract most from the list below.

Tables, graphs, images and citation should not be included.

Ethical considerations should be declared during the submission.

Presenting authors of the accepted abstracts are required to complete their registration and payment. Those who failed to register by the designated date will not be included in the program.

Certificate of presentation will be provided to the presenting author of the accepted abstract.

Acceptance of Abstract

Acceptance results and preparation guidelines will be released by January 19, 2024 (UTC+8).

E-Poster for accepted poster presentation to be submitted by February 23, 2024 (Friday) 10am (UTC+8).

Certificate of presentation will be provided to the presenting author of the accepted abstract.
Best Presentation and
Best Poster Award

To encourage young researchers, presenters who are graduate students in a doctoral or master's course or within three years of receiving their doctoral or master's degree are eligible to participate in the Best Presentation Award and the Best Poster Award competitions.

The Best Presentation Award and the Best Poster Award will be given to the best oral and poster presentations, respectively.

Please indicate the intention to apply for the award in the abstract submission system if you wish to apply for the award.

The shortlisted award candidates (both oral and poster presentations) will be requested to complete their registration and payment by the designate date. Also, they will be requested to present at the designated sessions on-site. Further details will be announced to shortlisted candidates.
